Chestnut Candy Recipe
(Naturalka Cuisine Special Recipe)
Can’t contain sugar but sweet like a holiday! Chestnut flour, which is combined with the natural flavor of dates, offers a recipe that salutes both healthy and traditional flavors.
📝 Ingredients:
67 Pieces date (core removed)
Enough hot water
chestnut flour (amount will be adjusted to the consistency)
💡 Chestnut flour is a great alternative to refined sugar-free recipes thanks to its gluten-free and natural sweet aroma. It is also very rich in fiber.
👩🍳 Preparation Stage:
Prepare the dates:
Take the dates that you have removed the seeds in a bowl. Add hot water to it, let it sit for a few minutes until the dates are soft.Puree:
After the dates are softened, mash them with the help of a blender (or if you only have a fork in your hand). The mixture should be creamy and thick.Add chestnut flour:
Add chestnut flour little by little to the date puree you have obtained. Continue mixing until the dough is recovered and a soft consistency is obtained.💡 Chestnut flour absorbs water quickly, so add in control. If you add too much, the dough may harden.
Shape:
Take walnut-sized pieces from the dough you have obtained and shape them by rolling them with your hands. If you wish, you can also get different looks by using molds.Listening:
Make sure to rest the candies you have shaped in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. This stage makes the consistency more full. If you want, you can roll it and serve it by slicing.
Service suggestion:
before serving Cocoa Pieces, , dark chocolate chips or nut you can sprinkle. It is also a great idea to serve with cookies such as hazelnuts, almonds and cashews!
